Kids chalking sidewalk – At 3:51 p.m., police logged officer-initiated activity at Manor Way and Ordway where five-year-olds were playing with chalk on the sidewalk. Disposition: Log note only. [Editor's update, 3:30 p.m., June 10: Patch contacted Albany Police Lt. John Geissberger, who said that the officer was responding to the children, not because they were playing with chalk on the sidewalk, but because they appeared to be young children outdoors without an adult present. He said the officer then discovered that an adult was inside the front door.]
