Robbers With Guns Steal iPod on Stannage

Two young men with guns took an iPod and cell phone from another young man on Stannage Avenue on Thursday night.
Police said the victim was walking in the 500 block of Stannage around 9:25 p.m. when a car pulled up.
Two young men jumped out with guns, said officer Pete O'Connor of the , while the driver waited in the car.

O'Connor said the robbers took a cell phone and iPod from the victim, then threw down the phone before leaving.
The robbers left southbound on Stannage in a silver Toyota Camry, then drove west on Garfield.

O'Connor said the victim described the robbers as black, ages 18-20, and 5 feet 8 inches tall with athletic builds; one had shoulder-length black dreadlocks. They were wearing black hoodies and blue jeans. The victim said both had handguns.
