Suspects in the case have not been identified.

A 16-year-old boy and girl walking on Nielson Street in front of Safeway were robbed at gunpoint Monday night, police said today.

No one was injured, but thieves took a purse, keys, cell phone, shirt and other personal property from the victims, said Lt. Dan Adams, Albany Police Department.

The teens were walking about 9:30 p.m.when four people approached them and confronted them after walking past. One suspect brandished a semi-automatic handgun, Adams said, and forced the victims to lie down.
