It wasn't and or I didn't see it the first time. Who is Rochelle Nason and what has she done for Albany? I guess it really doesn't matter since we don't get to vote.

Rochelle Nason was named to the spot opened by the death of Peggy Thompson. Nason received four votes on the first round. Then there was a tie-breaker ballot to see who would face off with her. After three deadlocked rounds, Mayor Wile switched her vote and Nick Pilch won the run-off. The final tally was Nason 3, Pilch 1. The mayor said her decision was based on his environmental records, which will be important because the waterfront will be a major topic between now and the election.
