Albany City Council Vacancy to be Filled Tonight

Three residents have applied for the open seat on the Albany City Council.

Tonight one of three Albany residents will be selected to fill the vacant seat on the Albany City Council.

According to the City of Albany website, Margaret (Peggy) McQuaid, Rochelle Nason and Nick Pilch have applied for the seat left vacant after the Albany City Council selected Vice Mayor Joanne Wile to replace the late Mayor Peggy Thomsen and Council member Peter Maass was appointed to fill the position of Vice Mayor on June 16.

The meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. tonight at the Council Chambers located at 1000 San Pablo Avenue in Albany.
