Albany Beach Restoration Workshop

The East Bay Regional Park District will host the second workshop in a regarding the proposed restoration of Albany Beach. The purpose of the workshop is to present information on the alternatives being considered for the restoration project. An updated summary of the project and the alternatives being considered is available on the park district's website.  

Issues voiced by community members at the December meeting that will be addressed on Thursday include:

  • Location and amount of beach parking
  • Watercraft drop-off/loading near the beach
  • Preservation of the eucalyptus grove
  • Bike racks, restrooms, picnic benches, drinking water
