Parenti, Kumamoto, Ritchie and Brill in Albany Schools Shuffle

A reshuffle at Albany schools is moving four district veterans in new or relatively new positions:

• Albany Middle School Principal Peter Parenti, after two years on the job, has been named the Albany Unified School District's new director of curriculum.
• Assistant Principal Deborah Brill is temporarily replacing him at AMS.
• As previously reported on Patch, David Kumamoto is moving from Marin Elementary School to Calistoga Junior/Senior High School (that article has drawn lots of comments).
  
• And as Patch previously reported, MacGregor High School Principal Alexia Ritchie will move into Kumamoto's old slot.

Superintendent Marla Stephenson told the West County Times that she has "utmost confidence" in her interim appointees and will search for permanent officials in the spring, which is the best recruiting period.
