Safeway Outreach Meeting Could Come in April

Details have not been set but city staff said Safeway reps are planning to submit another redesign for its Solano Avenue store in April.

After months of silence, could be back before the community in April with a new design for its Solano Avenue store.

The company recently told Albany city staff that it is finishing up work on a new design, and would like to have a public outreach meeting in the spring.

The date has been tentatively set for April 18. 

The business last appeared before the city in March 2011. Its design, which has at times from neighbors, from many in the room.
