Safeway Study Session Comes in June

Mark your calendars to learn about the CEQA review process for the new Safeway grocery store planned for Solano Avenue.

[Editor's Note: This meeting will be rescheduled, but a new date has not yet been set.]

The will hold a study session on June 14 regarding the application to build a at 1500 Solano Ave.

The session, , will include a design review and discussion of the "Planned Unit Development" designation, but will not include any final decisions about the project, according to a city notice released Monday.

The application involves a 63,411 square foot grocery store and retail shop development.

Commissioners will discuss the CEQA review process for the project.
