Check out these homes that are more than 100 years old and still quite livable

Halloween always conjures up images of an aging, rickety house with cobwebs and shuttered windows that all the kids in the neighborhood say is haunted.

So, we thought in our real estate stories this week we'd take a look at the oldest homes for sale in the Berkeley-Oakland area.

These homes are certainly not haunted and are definitely comfortable for the living.

In Berkeley, there's this four-bedroom, three-bathroom home at 1842 Channing Way that was built in 1905.

The 2,164-square-foot refurbished house is listed at $947,500.

In Piedmont, there's this six-bedroom, six-bathroom home at 224 Mountain Ave. that was built in 1906.
