Blue-green building -- how cities, and your garden, can help watersheds and water supplies

"Blue-Green Infrastructure" -- gray water, rain-water harvesting, rain gardens, green roofs and more  -- offers ways that cities, and your home, can help nature, creeks, and watersheds. Join Friends of Five Creeks as John Russell, owner of design-build Watersprout, shows slides of graywater and rain-retention projects ranging from private homes to the Crissy Field Center, Berkeley EcoHouse, and Sunset Magazine Idea Home. Friends of Five Creeks members show slides of new ways to use landscaping to slow harmful storm runoff.

Ideas for your garden, too! Free, all welcome, refreshments!
