Bulb Walk: A Home Shed Alliance Tour

Ages: 14 to Adult

BULB   n [L bulbus, fr. Gk bolbos] (1664) 1: a resting stage of a plant that is usually formed underground and consists of a short stem base bearing one or more buds enclosed in overlapping membranous or fleshy leaves. 2: a bulb shaped part; specifically, the 31 acre parcel owned by the City of Albany which projects outward into our bay.

Please come for a walking tour of the Albany Bulb as viewed through a Permaculture lens. We will take a look at the Bulb’s development over time, discover what is growing and explore the area’s potential. Come with sturdy shoes, an inquiring mind and your sense of humor! Class meets rain or shine.
