The Confident Bike Commuter: Fixing Flats & DIY Maintenance
Come by the Ecology Center to learn basic tips to feel more confident and independent commuting to work and biking around town. Learn to fix a flat while on the road and do your own basic maintenance to keep your bike running smoothly.
The teachers will demonstrate how to inspect your bike and what to keep in your repair kit.
If there is time they will also demonstrate the basic tuneup, brake pads, the chain, and more. Taught by Chris Thompson, program director at Street Level Cycles.
