Farewell to 40-Year AUSD Vet: Tom Dailey

This notice went out over the Marin School email list earlier this week. It has been reprinted here with permission.

Tom Dailey, lead custodian at , has worked in the  for 40 years.

Tom started in 1971 as the night custodian when Betty Lott was principal. He became lead custodian within a few months.

Tom first started out at the old Marin; then when they condemned the place, he worked at for a few years because Marin was located in the bottom of the high school.

Then around 1972-73, Tom moved to as the head custodian.

He came back to Marin in 1980 and has been here ever since!

There are not enough words to express how much Tom has done for Marin School and how much he will be missed.

If you see Tom, you may want to congratulate him and wish him a happy retirement. Tom’s last day is Friday, Dec. 30.
