Each fall, our journalism classes work diligently to update the AHS news site, replacing stories left in June with new pieces about this current school year.
That process is complete, and what you now see (and will see plenty more of) are all new stories, scores and more at www.albanyhighcougar.com.
In addition to the story about Albany Student Broadcasting that Jeff Castle referenced on Saturday, I'd like to bring your attention to senior Maddy Dunn's piece about energy use in the district and at AHS. Maddy did this research as part of her Edset internship. In addition to being a well-written piece, it is important to consider what we can each do to save energy.
Please let us know if you have an interesting class, unit, performance or project coming up, or if you have run across a particularly interesting student. We'd love to cover it.
The first print edition of The Cougar will be out shortly after Homecoming.
