Albany 'RATs' to Run in Bay to Breakers

Start training now to represent Albany in the B2B on May 19.

Run Around Town, a city-sponsored running program known less formally as RATs, will take part in this year's Bay to Breakers race in San Francisco on May 19, according to an update on the City of Albany website.

That gives you a chance to train, carpool and run the B2B with your neighbors — sporting a RATs T-shirt, if you'd like.

The group meets every Sunday at Suzette Crepe Cafe, 1226 Solano Ave., from 8 to 9 a.m. The program is free, and all ages and abilities are welcome.
