Adopt the Albany Waterfront and Trail Orientation Meeting

Learn about the activities of the Adopt the  program at this orientation at the Albany waterfront led by Allan Maris on Saturday.

The Adopt the Albany Waterfront and Trail program started in 2007 by a few local volunteers who cherish the Albany waterfront. The waterfront was divided into 14 sections, seven of which are currently adopted.  Multiple sections may be adopted and sections may be shared. Volunteers who adopt a section may remove trash and perform approved and supervised landscaping once or several times each month.  City guidance documents are provided.

The orientation meeting will be conducted by Allan Maris on Saturday, July 9, 10-11am at the foot of Buchanan Street near the Heron Sculptures.
