Head over to Golden Gate Fields on September 9 to watch racing on a smaller scale with the 2012 Weiner Nationals Weiner Dog races! Bring your family and friends to the track and cheer on the speedy competitors. More than 100 Dachshunds will compete for cash prizes in a total of 10 races that will take place throughout the day. General admission is $6 and kids are FREE with a paid adult. The first Dachshund race begins at approximately 12:30 p.m. with the last race at 5 p.m. Gates open at 10 a.m.; Dachshund races take place 12:30 - 5 p.m.;  first post at 1:15 p.m.
