Join us for a docent-led tour of the Hakone Gardens in Saratoga. Established in 1915, Hakone Gardens is the oldest Japanese and Asian estate garden in the Western Hemisphere. It is one of the prime landmarks cited by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. The garden is an authentic replica of a Japanese Samurai or Shogun's estate garden, designed by a descendent of the imperial gardening family. Lunch is included at a local eatery. Trip includes long periods of walking and standing.
