7 Year Old Boy Needs Bone Marrow Match

At just 7 years old, Baylor has already beaten cancer once. But the Albany boy is battling the disease again and this time doctors say his only option is a bone marrow transplant. No family members are a match.

Baylor’s case is tough—he’s of Japanese and German descent, so his best hope for a match is someone of Asian/Caucasion heritage. Unfortunately, people of mixed race make up a tiny portion of the National Bone Marrow Registry.

A donor drive is scheduled for this Saturday, May 10th, at Albany High School from 2 p.m. - 6 p.m.
