A Little Rain Couldn't Stop These Holiday Preparations

Boy Scout Troop 14 came out to string lights from the lampposts on Solano Avenue last weekend, keeping this festive tradition alive.

Solano Avenue, between San Pablo Avenue and the BART tracks, will twinkle for the holidays, thanks to the Albany and volunteers from .

Chamber President Tod Abbott worked in the rain Sunday morning with able assistance from scouts, scout masters and parent volunteers. They worked for hours draping strings of lights from lamppost to lamppost along both sides of the street.
