Gallery: Chicken and Waffles with Marty McFly

The neighbors of Dartmouth Street came together last weekend to watch "Back to the Future," play in the street and share a waffle or two.

This photo gallery and recap of Dartmouth Street's Block Movie Night came from resident, attendee and photographer Art Simon.

Last Saturday, Oct. 1, the block of Dartmouth Street between Cornell and Talbot avenues was closed to show the movie Back to the Future. The block was closed at 5:30 p.m. to give neighborhood kids some skateboard and bicycle time, while other neighbors socialized over .

This was the third year the block has participated in the  program through the city of Albany. New this year there were two food stalls. Angry Man Eats of San Francisco served up some very tasty chicken and waffles. The Bourbon Ball Guy had his stall open and donated all proceeds to the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure, netting the charity over $100.
