Listing Manager: Nick Pilch

Albany Strollers & Rollers was founded in 2004 to address safety hazards to bicyclists in the Albany area and to improve bicycle awareness. Strollers & Rollers works to provide safer routes for both cyclists and pedestrians, and influences the direction of traffic management and proposed development in Albany. Since its inception, the group has expanded from an original membership of 40 to its current membership of nearly 400, as of Nov. 4, 2011.

The group also provides many services to the community, such as free bicycle valet parking at city events, bringing out a pedal-powered blender for smoothies at street fairs and installing free lights on school kids' bikes.
