Owner Renee Wang opened Renee's Place in 1996 and since that time it has become a favorite Solano Avenue destination for organic and sustainably farmed Szechuan and Hunan cuisine. The stylish and elegant restaurant's menu features locally and organically farmed produce, as well as poultry and meat from such acclaimed ranches as Niman Ranch, Prather Ranch and Petaluma Poultry.

We've been going to Renee's for years, especially for their lunch sets (I dare to get the orange beef every now and then). Renee's really friendly and attentive too. One note: there are no meters on Solano in Albany. 90-minute parking on the street, but go down 50 yards or so on any side street and park as long as you want.
