Storm Laughs at Storm
Albany Little Leaguers Parade in Spite of Weather

March 25, 2012
Despite a steady rain, the Albany Little League held its annual beginning-of-the-season parade yesterday morning down Solano Avenue and on to their University Village playing fields home, proving once again that you can’t keep these plucky kids down. At least not two years in a row.
Last year’s parade was cancelled on account of torrential downpours, but the Little Leaguers were itching to show off their brand-new uniforms and their old-fashioned pride, and wouldn’t let a little bit of rain get in the way. The parade, which has been an Albany tradition for over 50 years, went off smoothly under the direction of parade coordinator Jennifer Hansen-Romero.

UGH!!! Nature is beautiful..but not feeling the beehive:( My last sting from a bee was quite unpleasant. That could be why:( Also explains why I see so many of them buzzing around..couldn't figure out where they were coming from. Well.....now I know:)
