About Jeanne

Saint Mary’s, founded in San Francisco in 1863, is a Lasallian Catholic coeducational college preparatory high school located on a 13-acre site in North Berkeley and is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the Western Catholic Education Association through 2014. Jeanne works at the school as the President's Assistant and member of the Communications Team. She is a Berkeley native with family in that city since 1912, attended Berkeley Catholic schools, and has worked for the De La Salle Christian Brothers in various capacities since 1975. Fifteen family members from Berkeley, Albany, Kensington, and Rodeo are graduates of Saint Mary's High, 1967 through 2006. Four nieces and nephews attended Albany High, and her parents attended Berkeley High, Classes of '39 and '44. Jeanne and her son relocated to Albany in 2011 after a lifetime in Berkeley.
