Mary Rees has worked on and off as a free-lance radio and print journalist over the last 20 years, when not teaching Russian or composition. Mary filed a few pieces from St. Petersburg, Russia on PRI'S "Marketplace" and, more recently, wrote stories for KPFA Radio News. She lives in Albany, where she enjoys an easy walk to work.
