Toby Bielawski, Neighbor

Toby Bielawski teaches writing at Las Positas College, where she also runs an annual poetry slam. She has written for <i>East Bay Express</i> and various travel  websites such as pology.com, and has published poetry in several journals and anthologies. She has recently published a manuscript of poems, Five Kinds of Fences, which she most often describes as place-based, or site-specific, poetry. A Berkeley native, Toby has lived in Albany for seven years, and is currently serving as the city&#39;s Poet Laureate.
