Learn About Patrick O'Keeffe, Albany's Interim City-Manager-Apparent

Patrick Okeeffe was interviewed prior to stepping down from his prior post in Emeryville.

Albany's city council wants former Emeryville City Manager Patrick O'Keeffe to serve as interim chief executive when Beth Pollard retires in August, as has been earlier reported.

O'Keeffe, 60, was winding down his work in Emeryville when he spoke at length with Rob Arias, editor of the E'ville Eye.

As Arias wrote: "O’Keeffe . . . presided over Emeryville during a critical juncture of its history and rebirth and his name will forever be tied to its boomtown reputation."
