Last But Not Least - The Lunge

Four Basic Exercises
As we wrap up our monthly challenge of practicing perfect form, we hope you are seeing some improvements. The last exercise of the four basic exercises we recommend you try to perfect is the lunge.

Lunging to Fitness
The lunge is great for ankle stabilization, balance and for strengthening your quadriceps and gluts. Start slow and build with this exercise. Every other day, begin with as many lunges as you can do and build up from there. In our short video we show three levels of the lunge; from most to least difficult. Start with the level that is a challenge but not a hardship for you.

Fitness is a Journey
Wherever you are in your health and fitness, the key is to get going and to keep going. Fitness improves over time and with effort. The road to fitness is not always fun, but hopefully in the end you will be rewarded with greater health, vitality and energy.
