Photo Gallery: Joy Flows Through Albany on National Night Out

Twenty blocks came out for community-wide parties on Aug. 3.

Drinking in the streets, kids on bicycles, rock bands, socials. Albany's National Night Out celebration on Aug. 3 brought out neighbors, city staff, police and fire officials to relax and enjoy a warm summer evening. Each block party had its own spin, but all seemed to share a sense of community and connection. Karina Tindol, of the Albany Police Department, organized the event, and 20 blocks participated.

If you took photos, add them to the gallery!

(E-mail me with your block and a short description to help me identify you if you'd like your name added to your photo. And if I got your street wrong, please let me know!)
