Albany Community Center Bricks Sparkle

The Friends of the Albany Library and the Albany Rotary Club recently donated money to have the commerative bricks cleaned.

Have you entered the from Marin Avenue recently and noticed the newly scrubbed bricks leading up to the front door?

The and the recently donated funds to have the tiles professionally cleaned.

Take a few minutes to read the tiles. What a wonderful way to remember Albany friends both past and present.

The bricks were originally sold by the Albany Center Builders to raise money for the new Community Center and Library, which opened in January 1994.

They have become a valuable historical snapshot of Albany at that time.
